At "Take A Walk In Her Shoes: International Women's Day Celebration 2008," plenty of womanly fun is on the schedule, including dance, music, theater, and visual art. The lady-roster is long, and features performers like comedian Betty La Bella, choreographer Nkeiruka Oruche, and participating organizations like the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center and the Columbia Park Boys and Girls Club. For style, beats, and girl power, though, what really gets our attention is Las Locas, the all-girl bateria of fabulous local percussion power-group Loco Bloco.
