Ha, ha, we're just kidding with the cynical headline: The St. Patrick's Day Parade is as much family fun this year as it is every year. It's huge! Irish dance schools, bagpipe contingents of even-paler Scots, the Irish Wolfhound Rescue Trust, and all the marching bands you could wish for head to Civic Center Plaza for a beer fest. Oh, oops, for a fun time. Plus, for anyone keeping track of Roman Catholic calendar minutiae, Saint Patrick's Day is a movable feast this year for the first time since 1940.
