Spanglish Probably Won't Cut It

For eight years, native speakers and other people who can hold up their end of a literary conversation in Spanish have gathered at the end of every month, in the back room of the Mission District's famous workers-collective bookstore. Does Oprah know about this? It kind of takes the whole book-group idea to the next level, so maybe someone should tip her off. Interested newcomers with the necessary chops are welcome to join the Spanish Book Group. In May, the book under consideration is La Velocidad de La Luz, by Soldiers of Salamis author Javier Cercas.
