The specialty of this small but well-stocked Korean grocery store is its excellent tangy kimchi, the classic Korean pickled relish, which is made in-house daily. Varieties available include, in addition to the traditional Napa cabbage (whole or sliced), daikon radish (also whole or sliced), baby radish, and cucumber — a special favorite. The simple ingredients: water, salt, garlic, hot pepper, and salted shrimp, in addition to the main vegetable. A quart jar is $7.99; pints are $4.99.
